Parents,
Hurricane Harvey has caused major devastation across the Texas Gulf Coast, and the rain continues to fall. In an effort to help our fellow Texans, we are asking you to join us in the following relief efforts. First, we are collecting various items to send immediately and school supplies to send later as our fellow schools have an opportunity to regroup. I have provided information below about how to participate. In addition, we have reached out to China Spring, our football opponent this Friday night, regarding a collaborative relief effort. In the spirit of sportsmanship and a bigger purpose, both schools will have students collecting funds to donate to the Red Cross.
I hope you can participate in one or both of these projects.
We are blessed in Leopard Nation. Thank you for your consideration!

China Spring Cougars vs Lorena Leopards Friday, September 1, 2017 at Leopard Stadium
At the game on Friday night, student representatives from both schools will be stationed at the home and visitors entrances collecting monetary donations to give to the Red Cross for relief efforts. Lorena and China Spring will compete to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. It will be a great game and an excellent opportunity to donate to a Texas cause. Hope to see you at the game!
