Please join us at LPS for the annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 27 from 6:00-7:00.  Students are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and come trick or treating with the teachers and staff.  The event is limited to Lorena Primary students and siblings only.
Red Ribbon Week is next week, October 24-28.  During Red Ribbon Week schools across America encourage students to say “NO to DRUGS” and to make good choices throughout their lives.

During Red Ribbon Week we will be having a canned food drive as a part of learning how to be responsible and help others.  Students and staff are encouraged to dress up each day as a reminder to be healthy and helpful.

Monday: "Join the FIGHT against drugs!" Students wear camouflage.
Tuesday: "I have the POWER to be drug-free!" Students wear a superhero shirt.
Wednesday: "I PLEDGE to be drug-free!" Students dress patriotic in red, white, and blue.
Thursday: "TEAM up against drugs!" Students wear favorite team shirt.
Friday: "I'm RED-y to be the BEST me!" Students wear red clothing.
